Official Groundbreaking of the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse

On Veteran’s Day, together with distinguished guests including the Governor of Idaho and the Boise Mayor, Mission43 and the Challenged Athletes Foundation-Idaho officially broke ground on the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse.

This campus is located in southeast Boise and covers almost 7 acres. The buildings and outdoor spaces are designed to support programming for Mission43 members who are military spouses, currently serving military, and former military, as well as the Challenged Athletes Foundation, which supports adaptive athletes through equipment and training opportunities.

The Fieldhouse will be a training and gathering place for those who are on a journey of hard work and determination to be the best they can be.

The facility will feature a performance fitness area, aquatic center, gymnasium, meeting spaces, and event space throughout 46,000 square feet, and has been thoughtfully designed with every user in mind. Additionally, there will be short-term housing and a wellness center on the campus. The opportunity to create this space for Idaho’s military and adaptive athlete communities has been made entirely possible by the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. We don’t know of anything like this anywhere else in the country.
